Yuaddha Bhoomi, as its names suggest, is an action drama movie inspired by the real events that took place during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
The movie revolves around Colonel Mahadevan and Major Chinamy. The major highlight of this movie is the sacrifices made by the soldiers to protect their nation. The film portrays the emotional struggles of soldiers when they are at the Warfield fighting against their enemies and also the impact of war on their families.
The film narrates the story in two periods and is the Telugu version of the original film called 1971: Beyond Borders. The film is about Manoranjan, who has a very short time to live due to his brain tumour. Knowing this truth, he wants to make his movie instead of working on one. In the past, Manoranjan used to love Yamini, but he forcibly got married to Varalakshmi, the daughter of famous film director Poornachandra Rao and also Margadarisi’s nemesis.
The present life of Manoranjan is nothing but moments from his troubled personal life involving his estranged son and a daughter he never knew existed. At last, he managed to complete his film called “Uttama Villian”, which is opposite from his life.
